We are looking for an General Manager in the warehouse Operations field to join our team with strong leadership and multitasking skills and the ability to handle high volume/busy operations while able to foster and maintain a positive work environment as well as a friendly and exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

• Plans, directs, or coordinates the location warehouse operations.
• Responsible for the total operation and financial success of the facility. Management areas include plant operations, compliance, safety, business development, employee management, and meeting corporate financial goals.
• Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity.
• Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
• Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
• Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
• Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

General Accountabilities

• Reviews financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
• Directs and coordinates activities concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
• Directs administrative activities concerning product production or services.
• Prepares staff work schedules and assigns specific duties.
• Monitors suppliers to ensure goods or services are provided within budgetary limits.
• Directs or coordinates budgets to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
• Establishes or implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures.
• Plans or directs activities such as sales promotions.
• Sets prices for goods or services based on forecasts of customer demand.
• Manages the movement of goods into and out of to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proven success in a managerial role
• Strong decision-making ability
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
• Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
• Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
• Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
