Role Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth and accountability. Responsibilities include maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor's preferred. No experience necessary; new graduates eligible. Hospital experience preferred. Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate license required. Current BCLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, CHEMO, or NICU certifications, within specified timeframes. Skills & Duties Provide patient-centered nursing care following policies and procedures. Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery.
