Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the hands-on engine of the firm's recruiting function. Reporting into the Talent & Culture Manager, this role owns full-cycle recruiting for manager-level and below positions, from initial role intake through sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, onboarding documentation and background checks. This individual serves as a cultural ambassador for candidates, representing the firm's brand and values throughout the hiring process, someone who is charismatic, genuinely enjoys talking to people, and builds rapport easily. This is an execution-focused role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, moving quickly, and delivering consistent, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers across every line of service or function of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, ideal candidate profile, compensation range, target hiring timeline, and the interview process and stakeholders involved. Liaise with the Talent & Culture Manager on writing and finalizing job descriptions, ensuring role requirements, qualifications, and compensation ranges are accurately reflected; post open positions across LinkedIn and other relevant job boards/careers page, keep postings current throughout the hiring process, and close out or refresh listings as requisitions are filled or timelines shift. Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques; review resumes and applications and conduct initial video screens to evaluate skills, experience, cultural fit, and salary expectations before presenting a shortlist to hiring managers. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers/panels, managing calendars, video links, and interview guides; collect and consolidate interviewer feedback in a timely manner. Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience, and proactively keep hiring managers updated on pipeline status, candidate feedback, and market conditions. Maintain accurate, up-to-date requisition and candidate data in the applicant tracking system, track key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire), and manage multiple open requisitions with competing priorities simultaneously. Lead campus recruitment efforts, including attending career fairs and on-campus events, working with the Talent and Culture Manager to build relationships with universities and accounting programs and cultivating a pipeline of entry-level and early-career talent to support future hiring needs. Partner with hiring managers and Talent & Culture on compensation recommendations, prepare offer letters for review, support offer negotiations, and manage acceptance or decline communications. Initiate and track background checks to ensure timely completion, and prepare and distribute new hire onboarding documentation, coordinating with HR to ensure a smooth handoff. Support the Talent & Culture Manager in piloting and adopting AI-driven recruiting tools and initiatives, helping identify opportunities to streamline sourcing, screening, and other recruiting processes as the firm expands its use of AI in talent acquisition. Qualifications: 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting manager-level and below roles Headhunting/ agency recruitment experience is a must, with a proven track record of proactively sourcing and closing passive candidates Hands-on experience sourcing and recruiting through LinkedIn Recruiter; Boolean search experience is a must Background in professional services, or in a small, agile start-up or start-up tech environment Demonstrated ability to manage the full recruiting lifecycle independently, from intake through onboarding Experience negotiating and closing offers, balancing candidate expectations with internal compensation guidelines Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and onboarding cycles at once Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and hiring managers Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintaining accurate, up-to-date candidate/requisition records Experience with an HRIS platform, preferably Paylocity Strong attention to detail, particularly around offer letters, onboarding documentation, and background check processes Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to shifting hiring needs and timelines Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI and emerging recruiting technology, with the ability to use various AI tools to support sourcing, screening, and other recruiting processes.
