Assembler IThe Assembler I will perform duties associated with electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly and packaging. This role requires manual hand assembly skills, attention to detail, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality results. Work Schedule-2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am as they work a 4/10 work schedule.ResponsibilitiesSupport company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations, including compliance with Medical Device Quality Standards.Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), objectives, the quality assurance program, as well as safety and environmental standards.Establish, build, and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients, and suppliers.Work with minimal supervision while demonstrating excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Maintain meticulous attention to detail and meet deadlines.Learn new equipment and processes quickly and demonstrate proficiency in their operation.Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures, ensuring compliance with their requirements.Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while monitoring your work to ensure quality.Practice and advocate good safety skills at all times.Essential Skills1+ years of medical device assembly experience.Diploma.Ability to use basic hand tools such as micrometers and calipers.Ability to operate electrical and mechanical equipment and interpret results.Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and detect issues with tooling, materials, processes, and quality.Ability to read, interpret, and learn engineering drawings, manufacturing procedures, and inspection procedures.Proficient computer skills to transact products within the production system and complete online training.Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate active listening.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with cleanroom and production environments.Ability to work with hand tools, microscopes, and in mechanical assembly.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team working on new products with significant growth opportunities.Work EnvironmentThe position involves working in a cleanroom/production environment with a mix of sitting and standing.Expect cross-training in multiple departments including packaging, production, and cleanroom, with two weeks of training per department.The work is very repetitive.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. The pay range for this position is $19.95 - $19.95/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
