Radiologic Technologist

The primary responsibilities include the positioning of patients for x-ray imaging of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. The Radiologic Technologist performs imaging procedures at a level not requiring direct supervision. They operate x-ray equipment, process images, and document findings into a PACS system. Basic patient care is provided under the supervision of a clinic nurse. Patient care responsibilities may include obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, and obtaining specimens, including blood draws if qualified. Preparing patients for clinician evaluation and assisting clinicians as needed is also part of the role. The Radiologic Technologist ensures that the area is orderly and well-stocked with supplies and equipment. They may also float to other departments as needed. Holiday coverage is required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California Certifications: Current CPR Certification, California issued Fluoroscopy Permit, Current ARRT licensure Must-Have: - EPIC EMR experience - Previous traveler experience preferred
