Travel Operating Room Surgical Technologist - $2,000 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Decorah, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Iowa-based healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week. This position involves supporting surgical procedures across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, and dental. The role requires experience in a surgical environment and the ability to work a regular daytime schedule with on-call responsibilities. Job Details: Location: Decorah, Iowa Schedule: Primarily 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgical case load (as early as 6:00 a.m.). Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program; state of Iowa Mandatory reporter training; American Heart Association BLS certification; must stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call. Preferred Qualifications: Surgical Technologist Certification Experience: 1 year of experience in surgical technology or related field. Additional Information: The position includes an on-call rotation, approximately one night every two weeks, and duties on every 5th to 6th weekend. Holiday call rotation is also included.
