Responsibilities
- Apply professional nursing judgment in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for CCU patients.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret alarms and lab results, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Administer medications and therapies per care plans; adjust care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; supervise delegated tasks as appropriate.
- Coordinate care across physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff; communicate with patients’ families while maintaining bedside accuracy and privacy.
- Document care in the electronic medical record with attention to standards of nursing practice and regulatory requirements.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance; participate in continuous quality improvement.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- CCU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts and work in a fast-paced CCU environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and adapt to new teams and protocols
