Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Acute Care

SCHEDULE
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
- One year recent acute care RN experience

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a professional manner.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care responsibilities among the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with established Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Document patient care activities clearly and concisely.
- Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac or respiratory distress.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
- Cerner experience is required.
