Registered Nurse (RN) Position at St. Mary Medical CenterSt. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an RN to join our Heart & Vascular Center! Schedule: Full-time day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week. On-Call Requirement: 1 day/week and every 5th weekend.Unit: Cath Lab/IREmployment Type: Full-timeShift: 10-hr shifts (7am-5pm)On-Call Requirement: 1 day/week and every 5th weekend. Location: St. Mary Medical CenterPosition PurposeThe primary objective of this position is to provide quality of care. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with supervising physicians, department, and other members of the healthcare team in an effective and comprehensive manner.Ability to circulate and/or assist physician in performing basic to advanced interventional cardiovascular/radiologic procedures for the adult patient.Strong background in angiography with an emphasis in cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, cardiac/peripheral vascular stenting, and interventional radiology procedures for the trauma patient.Must have strong critical thinking skills, knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, and work well under pressure during high acuity situations.Prepares and operates ultrasound, intravascular ultrasound, intra-aortic balloon pump, and Impella equipment.Position requires primary and back-up cardiac and interventional radiology on-call responsibility to cover emergency lifesaving procedures for the ST Elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and trauma patient populations.Position Requirements:BSN from an accredited school of nursingPA RN LicenseBLSACLSPrior experience as an RN in both the cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedural areas preferred.Critical care experience preferred.Benefits:Comprehensive benefit packages, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from the first day of employment.Work/Life balance with flexible schedules.Free onsite parking.Our mission and core values are what drive each member of Trinity Health to support each other, communicate openly and respectfully while embracing a culture that nurtures a healing, safe environment for all.Referral Rewards ProgramDiscounted onsite childcare through Bright HorizonsAbout Us: St. Mary Medical Center is a beautiful 53-acre state-of-the-art facility comprised of more than 700 physicians, nearly 3,000 colleagues, and 1,100 volunteers committed to providing quality care delivered with compassion and respect.
