Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Services

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (BHU RN) to provide comprehensive acute care to adults and children in outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities delivering patient-centered nursing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, monitoring patient conditions, educating patients and families, documenting care using electronic health records, participating in rounds, supervising support staff, and promoting safety and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), active NYS RN license, BLS certification, and unit-specific certifications like CIT, ACLS, PALS, and stroke education as required. Skills excellent clinical judgment, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, emergency response skills, and knowledge of healthcare reporting and quality measures.
