POSITION TITLE: Director, Human ResourcesJOB LOCATION: Las Vegas, NVPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing HR strategy across a national executive protection workforce. This position partners directly with executive leadership to align people strategy with business objectives, ensuring scalable systems, compliance, and a strong organizational culture. The Director oversees all HR functions, including compliance, talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development. Compensation and benefits include:Base compensation range of $101,476 – $111,398 annuallyCompetitive pay based on experience and qualificationsPaid time off, paid sick leave,Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits401(k) retirement plan with company match above industry standardEmployee Assistance Program (for unforeseen life events and hardships)Opportunities for advancement and career growth within PFC Group of CompaniesDUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Oversee payroll functionsDevelop and lead HR strategy to support company growth and operational needsOversee all HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance managementEnsure full compliance with multi-state employment laws, with heavy emphasis on California regulationsAdvise executive leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and risk managementBuild and refine HR infrastructure, policies, and scalable processesLead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and high-level disciplinary actionsEstablish and track key HR metrics to inform business decisionsOversee compensation, benefits strategy, and vendor relationshipsDrive leadership development and performance management frameworksManage and mentor HR staffREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this position:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership roleDeep expertise in multi-state compliance, especially California labor lawExperience supporting distributed or operational workforces (security, law enforcement, military, or similar industries preferred)Proven ability to build HR systems and scale processes in a growing organizationStrong business acumen and ability to partner with executive leadershipStrong MS Office 365 SkillsWorking and in use knowledge of HRIS systems especially PaycomExperience running payroll and all associated reportsCOMPETENCIES:Strategic thinking with hands-on execution abilityLeadership and team developmentHigh-level decision-making and risk assessmentStrong executive presence and communication skillsAbility to navigate ambiguity and operational complexityIntegrity, discretion, and professionalismResults-oriented with a focus on continuous improvementPHYSICAL DEMANDS/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting and computer usePeriodic travel required (including multi-state operations)Use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, HRIS systems)Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and written channelsAbility to climb two sets of stairs in office #J-18808-Ljbffr PILOT MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC
