Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Experience: Level 4 NICU experience required; cardiac PICU experience preferred.

License: Valid state license required.

Certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required. ACCS preferred.

Must-Have: Must have level 4 NICU experience. Cardiac PICU experience preferred.

Description: Client offers clinical review. This position includes 36 or 48 hours per week. The schedule involves working every other weekend and every other holiday. The unit uses a self-scheduling model that the manager will explain during the call. The unit will do its best to accommodate desired schedules but cannot guarantee them. The respiratory therapist must be competent in caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics. The therapist should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills. The therapist will be required to work in various units and must be competent in using both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A. Candidates will be asked to float within their scope of practice within the facility. References are required. This position is not suitable for locals. Vacancies for this role are highly competitive. Scheduling requests must be accurate at the time of submission. No additional requests will be approved after acceptance. If there are any vacation plans during the contract period, they must be communicated promptly for realistic scheduling. Valid licenses in hand are required before starting the position. Experience with a specific charting system is required. Please be prepared to provide copies of required certifications.
