Network Infrastructure Engineer
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Duration: 6 months
Act as a subject matter expert for enterprise network infrastructure
Lead network modernization and upgrade initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and security teams
Ensure network reliability, scalability, and performance
Drive adoption of automation in network operations
Support compliance with change management and regulatory standards
Provide technical guidance on routing, switching, and security
Participate in incident and problem management processes
Contribute to continuous improvement in network operations
Support project planning and execution for infrastructure initiatives
Lead network infrastructure upgrade projects across enterprise environments
Upgrade Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto devices including switches, routers, and firewalls
Perform IOS/XE and EOS upgrades and configuration management
Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions and centralized platforms
Configure and manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
Manage Layer 2 technologies including VLANs and STP
Utilize Ansible for network automation and configuration deployment
Monitor network performance using tools like NetScout, Cisco DNAC, NetFlow, SNMP, and Syslog
Troubleshoot and resolve incident and problem tickets
Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation
Provision network resources including VLANs, ports, routing, and firewall rules
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms
Experience upgrading Arista and Palo Alto network devices
Expertise in Cisco IOS/XE and Arista EOS
Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies
Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
Solid understanding of Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP)
Experience with network monitoring tools (NetScout, Cisco DNAC, NetFlow, SNMP)
Proficiency in network automation using Ansible
Knowledge of firewall policy management and network security
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
Experience with NetFlow, SNMP, and Syslog
Excellent communication and documentation skills
5 years or above
