Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging, Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all range of ultrasound scans for infants through adults, focused on general and limited vascular imaging.
• Collaborate with in-house radiologists during working hours; utilize Nighthawk services during night shifts.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures without handling IV starts.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS systems.
• Provide weekend and holiday rotational on-call coverage as required.
• Orient to the department with up to one week of orientation, including computer-based training and shadowing.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of one year of procedural experience, including paracentesis or thoracentesis preferred.
• Experience working in an acute care setting with no prior assignments at Marshfield within six months.
• Flexibility to work without block scheduling; may be the only tech on shift.
• Familiarity with Siemens and Philips equipment for optimal operation during imaging procedures.
