About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Travel, Float Pool) – Nights

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Onsite | Float Pool

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Float between multiple facilities and departments as assigned within the float pool
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR (required)
• Willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities in the Tucson area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool setting
• Familiarity with a 6:1 patient ratio environment
• Ability to begin assignment within two weeks of offer acceptance
