Earthwork/Excavation Laborer

Chip Kronau Construction & Equipment, Inc. one of the Equipment World's 2021 Contractor Of The Year Finalists, is looking to hire a Laborer/Pipe Layer to join our team. The laborer is responsible for providing ground work assistance to our Equipment Operator/Superintendent. The type of work includes but is not limited to, lot clearing, grading, watermain and sewer main repair, trenching, pipe laying and light snow plowing. Pay Range $40,000 - $60,000+ year D.O.E. Basic Requirements
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis (50lbs or more).
- Knowledge of basic math and measuring.
- Be able to set up and operate lasers for grading.
- Be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Must possess a clean valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Be able to commute to the various job sites within and around the general capital district.
- Experience installing underground pipe and pipe laying is a plus.
- Blue print reading is a plus.
