Job Requirements and Duties As assistant manager you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including: Cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations Staffing, paperwork, food management, and scheduling Maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance, punctuality, and store cleanliness Marketing, profitability, and transportation to/from work Follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from the crew Open availability required. General Job Duties for All Store Team Members Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Training Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person Essential Functions / Skills Mathematical accuracy: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make correct monetary change Skill at making precise hand movements with speed Proficiency with computer keyboard or touchscreen Navigational skills to find addresses within the delivery area Ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying product Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, fumes, cornmeal dust and cramped quarters. Hot surfaces, sharp edges, and mechanical parts may be encountered. Sensing Telephone hearing, vision (near, mid, and far), and depth perception Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces Night vision for driving Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments. Qualifications Management experience preferred. Must be available 2 out of 3 weeks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and have a reliable vehicle. Physical Requirements Standing: most tasks performed from standing position Walking: short distances/durations; delivery personnel travel between store and vehicle Sitting: paperwork done at desk or table Lifting: bulk product deliveries; up to 50 lbs, dimensions 3' x 1.5'; stacking up to 72" Carrying: large cans 3 lbs 7 oz, pizza sauce 30 lbs, trays of dough 12 lbs per tray Pushing: move trays on dollies; forces up to 7.5 lbs Climbing: stairs or ladders, up to five flights during delivery Stooping/Bending: forward bending at waist for assembly; repeated continuously Crouching/Squatting: occasionally for stocking and cleaning Reaching: up to above 72" for equipment; below for scooping and cleaning; forward for topping Driving: deliver pizzas within designated area; valid driver’s license; insured vehicle required Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids Team members may use pencils, pens, computers, phones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Driving Specific Job Duties Deliver product by car to customer’s door Deliver flyers and door hangers Requirements Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
