HVAC Lead Installer – Grow Into Leadership with a Rapidly Expanding HVAC Company

A/D Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. – Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley

A/D Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer who wants to do excellent work today and build toward something bigger tomorrow.

A/D has served Southern California since 1980 and is now under new ownership and management and rapidly growing.

As we expand, we're looking for experienced installers who can help establish the quality standards our installation department will be built around.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC replacement and installation projects
• Install split systems, furnaces, coils, condensers, heat pumps and package units
• Perform equipment change-outs and complete system installations
• Install and modify ductwork, plenums, transitions and fittings
• Install refrigerant lines, condensate piping, electrical connections and controls
• Perform proper evacuation, charging and system startup
• Verify airflow and proper system operation
• Read job scopes, equipment specifications and installation instructions
• Maintain clean, professional jobsites
• Complete required job documentation and photographs
• Communicate professionally with homeowners
• Coordinate with project management and office staff
• Help train and develop apprentice/junior installers

We're Looking For

✅ Experienced HVAC installer with strong residential installation knowledge
✅ Ability to complete installations correctly and efficiently
✅ Understanding of refrigeration, airflow and electrical fundamentals
✅ Strong sheet-metal and ductwork abilities preferred
✅ EPA certification preferred/required as applicable
✅ Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
✅ Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
✅ Leadership mentality
✅ Ability to train and work alongside less-experienced installers

That means we're interested in people who eventually want to become Lead Installers, Installation Supervisors, Field Supervisors, Project Managers or Operations Leaders.
