Summary
An established general contractor builder is seeking a Superintendent to oversee ground-up projects in the Peninsula/South Bay area. This role will lead day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards are upheld throughout construction.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with multifamily construction experience who enjoys being highly involved in field execution and wants long-term growth with a builder that has an active pipeline of work throughout Northern California.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily field operations for ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site logistics
• Drive project schedules and maintain progress against milestones
• Manage quality control and ensure work is completed per plans/specifications
• Lead onsite safety efforts and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate sequencing between trades
• Work closely with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, and field updates
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and resolve field conflicts proactively
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports and site logs
• Support project turnover, punchlist completion, and closeout activities

Requirements
• 5-10+ years of Superintendent experience within a GC environment
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
• Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain jobsite accountability
• Familiarity with inspections, safety compliance, and quality control processes
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
