Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting personalized treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and home exercise protocols
  • Meticulously document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines
  • Engage in multidisciplinary care rounds and conferences to ensure a smoothly-coordinated care experience
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) will be regarded positively but are not required
Skills
  • Previous experience is highly favored
