Pathologist (MD/DO)

Inova Pathology is seeking AP/CP board certified pathologists to provide anatomic and clinical pathology services. Fellowship training in an area of surgical pathology with at least 3 years of surgical and clinical pathology sign out experience is preferred. All System Autopsies are performed at only Inova Fairfax Medical CampusCall duties include covering both AP (OR/Frozens) and CP (mainly blood bank). Additional Requirements:Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Doctorate Program (MD/DO)Experience: 3 years in active practice of pathology preferredBoard Certification: Anatomic and Clinical Pathology - AP/CPCertification: Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training; BLS from the American Heart Association.Licensure: Currently hold or ability to obtain an unrestricted VA medical licensureCredentialing: Ability to obtain successful medical staff credentials throughout all of our Inova pathology locationsApplicants may be considered for current and future opportunities including full time, part time and PRN positions.
