PBGH currently has a great opportunity for a Product Development Manager. The Product Development Manager will coordinate and manage the development and approval needs for our brands. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create and manage time and action calendar
- Create and manage sample fabric tracking chart
- Source new fabrics for design
- Maintain fabric and trim library
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories and sample rooms
- Create line lists
- Request samples from vendors as needed
- Make bulk approval comments on lab dips, strike offs, fabrics and trims
- Maintain product approvals library
- Resolve development and bulk production issues
- Adjust to changing business needs/priorities
- Understanding of market trends
- Attend all relevant department, brand and cross-functional meetings
- Lead cross functional meetings and follow up on issues
- Liaise with design, fabric R&D, production, and sales
