RN‑Education Specialist Department/Unit: Education and Develop. Work Shift: Day. Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–4:30pm with occasional off‑shift and weekend rotation. Salary Range: $94,957.00 – $147,183.00 (prorated based on hours worked). Responsibilities Participate in orientation/onboarding of new staff. Obtain and maintain certification to teach BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BTR. Participate in the ANCC CE Provider Unit at Albany Medical Center. Educate, support, coach, and role‑model professional nursing practice. Develop evidence‑based learning. Participate in new product roll‑outs. Collaborate with educators and leaders across AMC to ensure successful transition of new staff. Support innovation, quality, safety, and patient experience through participation in meetings, workgroups, and focus groups across AMC. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing – required. Graduate of a School of Nursing – strongly preferred. Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State – required. Matriculated into a Master's Degree in Nursing program with evidence of completion within 2 years of hire – required. Master's degree in Nursing – strongly preferred. BLS certification – required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP instructor – preferred.
