Ambulatory Psychiatry RN - Pediatric Float Nurse The Ambulatory Psychiatry RN - Pediatric Float Nurse is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple programs within Ambulatory Psychiatry. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated nurse passionate about pediatric mental health. Highlights Pay: $37.12 - $50.11/hour Location: Rochester, NY Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital Schedule: Full‑time, Day shift What You Will Do Provide direct patient care based on established standards. Support unit activities and enhance the care delivery system. Assume roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. Support multiple programs including Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness and Brighter Days Pediatric Urgent Care. Triage complex patient presentations involving medically related concerns and psychosocial needs. Conduct patient assessments and complete health screenings. Administer medications and manage medication refills. Handle prior authorizations. Adapt to the dynamic needs of each assignment. Requirements Education NYS RN license required.
