Locum Physician OB/GYN

An excellent locum opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN Physician to provide short-term coverage at a dedicated Family Birthing Center with an in-house OR for C-sections. This role offers strong clinical support and a well-rounded practice environment.

Coverage Dates: October 1517

Average Deliveries: 2330 per month

Dedicated Family Birthing Center with in-house OR for C-sections

Support Staff: On-call anesthesiologist, general surgeons, OB/GYN colleagues, Family Medicine OB, pediatrician, and skilled respiratory therapists

EMR: Cerner

Reason for Coverage: Provider cancellation and maternity leave

Preferred Lodging: GoldMiner's Inn (travel covered)

Board Certified OB/GYN or Board Eligible within 5 years Required

Active CA License Required

DEA License Required (during credentialing)

Malpractice: Clean record preferred

Must have performed at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in the past 2 years OR completed hospital-affiliated residency/fellowship

Hospital-based coverage including deliveries, C-sections, and ED call for OB/GYN cases

Average Callback Hours: 46 per shift

Credentialing timeframe: 10 days minimum from completed application
