Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - Forklift & Export Experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $18/hour , depending on experience

About the Opportunity

Opsource Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Duncan, SC area to hire an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator .

We're looking for a dependable, organized professional with shipping and receiving experience, forklift experience, and knowledge of export paperwork and international shipments . If you enjoy a fast-paced warehouse environment and take pride in keeping materials, inventory, and shipments moving accurately and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, label, and properly route incoming shipments and finished goods.
• Compare shipments against manifests, invoices, packing lists, and orders to verify accuracy.
• Prepare and process shipping, receiving, work order, bill of lading, and export documentation .
• Coordinate daily shipments with the Supervisor and Sales Department.
• Contact carriers and shipping representatives to arrange deliveries and resolve issues.
• Package, seal, label, and prepare outgoing shipments using appropriate materials and hand/power tools.
• Build wooden crates and skids for heavy equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move inventory.
• Receive, sort, label, and store stock according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate computerized inventory records and perform daily cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain receipts and documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, shortages, or other discrepancies and document findings.
• Deliver materials to departments, production areas, storage locations, and test stations as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Assist with other departmental duties and projects as business needs require.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or wholesale environment.
• Experience with export paperwork and international shipments is required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Computer proficient, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with UPS WorldShip and SAP ERP is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand packing lists and picking lists.
• Comfortable using hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, table saws, and other equipment.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, including phone, email, written, and in-person communication.
• Team-oriented and able to work accurately under deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
