Project Accountant

Project AccountantWe have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant here at Aldridge Electric. In this role you will work with Project Managers to submit invoices / pay estimates / waivers to customers along with any other documentation required by our contract. You will also follow through on all approved billings to ensure timely collection of funds.What you'll do:Work with Project Managers to submit invoices, pay estimates, lien waivers, payroll reports, fuel/equipment reports, insurance certificates, drug testing reports, sworn statements to customers along with any other documentation required by our contractPrepare billing package and follow up to ensure timely collection of fundsMaintain accurate forecasting of collections aggressively as billings approach contractual payment cyclesWork in conjunction with Accounts Payable to coordinate subcontract and supplier payments as determined by the terms of each contractMonitor pay estimates from pencil through funding stageDevelop and report job specific cash management plansCoordinate and ensure the collection of various required documentation from subcontractors and suppliersMonitor change order status through each stageMonitor contract values to ensure accuracy for both Aldridge and each subcontractorWho you are:Bachelor's degree in Accounting2-4 years of project accounting or accounts receivable or related experienceExceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize effectivelyDemonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applicationsPossesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationConfidence in presenting ideas and recommendations to executive teams, while remaining diplomatic and respectfulWho we are:At Aldridge, we invite you to be a part of our dynamic team, where your skills are not only valued but crucial to our success. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus.
