About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join their global team. The successful candidate will be a key strategic leader, partnering with the Chief Financial Officer to support the company's growth and long-term value creation. This role is pivotal in guiding the financial strategy through disciplined planning, forecasting, and capital allocation, with a strong focus on maximizing impact for both patients and shareholders. The VP, FP&A will lead the evolution of financial capabilities, provide strategic financial insight, and ensure that financial considerations are embedded in the company's decision-making processes. Candidates for the VP, FP&A position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of finance leadership experience, including senior roles in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for a publicly traded company. Experience in enterprise financial analysis, capital allocation, and supporting business development activities such as M&A and licensing is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial drivers in the biotechnology sector and a background in a commercial-stage, rapidly growing organization. The role also requires experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams and a background in transforming finance processes and systems to enhance scalability and efficiency.
