Part Time Estate Administration Paralegal

Our client, a private law firm in Newark, DE, is seeking a part-time Estate Administration Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various legal matters, including estate and trust planning and administration. Primary Responsibilities: Assist attorney in preparing legal documents, including pleadings and estate planning documents. E-file documents with the Register of Wills office and Court of Chancery. Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently. Maintain organized files and records for easy access and retrieval of information. Communicate with clients regarding file updates and necessary documentation. Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Skills and Qualifications: Two years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law office setting. Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes related to estate and trust planning and administration. Proficient in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Familiarity with legal documentation and electronic filing processes. Ability to transcribe documents accurately with attention to detail. Proficient in electronic filing with the Register of Wills and Court of Chancery. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
