Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Jeanerette, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.20 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM Tue 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting observations and reporting unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help identify potential issues and/or policy violations. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
