The Samsung Ads Platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory. As streaming expands consumer options and access to premium content, Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free ad-supported TV (FAST) and on-demand (AVOD) service, has seen remarkable growth. Now with 88 million monthly active users and an over 50% increase in global viewership YoY, Samsung TV Plus’ audience scale and engagement make it the #1 app in the U.S. on the #1 TV brand. The Senior HR Business Partner role within the North America Service Business division involves liaising with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the broader HR organization to execute programs and process necessary to the Ads Product and Engineering team. This role will act as a visible partner and is the primary point of contact to address business needs touching HR functions and capabilities including employee engagement & culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards and employee relations.**Role and Responsibilities****Role and Responsibilities*** With guidance from HR leadership, the HRBP will drive the People Strategy in the assigned client group, while ensuring alignment between the business operations and HR practices and objectives.* Provide thought leadership and insightful data to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions.* Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.* Coach leadership on talent management strategy.* Support and execute cyclical HR programs and participate in projects related to human capital and organizational initiatives.* This role requires execution of HR processes and ensures HR data integrity on behalf of the organizations it supports.* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with legal department as needed/required.* Align business goals and objectives with People policies and practices.**Skills and Qualifications****Skills and Qualifications*** Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.* PHR/SPHR certification preferred.* Strong attention to details, listening skills, influencing style and proactive solutions are essential for success.* A good understanding of the many disciplines within HR, including diversity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, etc.* Excellent stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization* Must possess a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities to intercultural personnel and corporate dynamics.* Experience in organizational integrations, design and change management.* Demonstrated ability to interact with team members at all levels.* The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous Human Resources related projects and programs in a changing corporate environment.* Ability to make professional presentations and to communicate in writing, through e-mails and reports, or orally, complex matters to an audience of high technical skills and operational experience.* Ability to convince others, including stakeholder leadership, VPs, directors & managers, staff, and vendors with opposing views to resolve conflict, accept/approve plans, or project recommendations.* Comfort with complexity and ambiguity.* Expertise in MS Office Suite required, especially Excel and PowerPoint.* Working knowledge of Workday (Core HCM) is strongly preferred.Life @ Samsung - Benefits @ Samsung - The salary range for this role is expected to be between $165,000 and $185,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
