Communications Specialist Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Onsite 3 to 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 months, with potential for extension through November Pay Rate: $40/hour About the Opportunity We're partnering with a leading entertainment and technology organization seeking an experienced Event & Communications Specialist to support a high-profile, enterprise-wide technology showcase this fall. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing complex events from concept through execution, and excels at bringing cross-functional teams together through clear communication and exceptional organization. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure successful event execution. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate logistics, demonstrations, presentations, and event operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational needs, including event services, catering, vendors, invoices, promotional items, and registration. Draft and edit content for event websites, registration pages, invitations, signage, presentations, and other event collateral. Develop internal communications to promote the event across multiple channels while maintaining consistent messaging and branding. Prepare event briefs, stakeholder presentations, meeting notes, task trackers, and project documentation. Provide onsite coordination before and during the event, ensuring seamless execution and resolving issues as they arise. Track project progress, identify risks proactively, and collaborate with project leadership to keep initiatives on schedule. SuperbTech
