CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and competent CNA services within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper care according to facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Monitor and report patient conditions, noting any changes or concerns.
Perform sanitation and infection control duties to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure care plans are followed accurately.
Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with feeding when necessary.
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

Possess an active Maryland GNA license at the time of application.
Hold current CNA certification and BLS certification recognized by AHA.
Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
Possess strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Ability to float across various units, including LTC, LTAC, Medical-Surgical, and Behavioral Health, based on staffing needs.
Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and every other weekend.
