To join our team as an Field Technician! As a Field Technician, you will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Successful candidates will reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for daily travel within the state. For this exciting career opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications Record and report to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers. Travel throughout a defined territory In this exciting career opportunity, you will have… 0-1 Years experience in a relative industry High school or Associates Degree Physical Nature of the Job Work in all climates Bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing Use repetitive hand motion Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds frequently Type of Work Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day (this is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers’ homes) Driving Are at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license Target Compensation: $22.00/hr This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment. DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Compensation Range $16.50 - $24.00 Currency USD Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
