Project Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities Data Governance & Program Management Lead data governance initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and operating procedures. Drive governance programs that improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and accountability. Monitor adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to establish data stewardship practices. Facilitate communication, training, and adoption of governance standards throughout the organization. Promote a culture of data ownership and accountability. Compliance & Controls Support compliance initiatives by ensuring appropriate governance controls are established and maintained. Provide guidance on document control processes and governance-related activities. Assist with audit readiness and regulatory reporting requirements. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze data quality trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Support reporting and visualization initiatives that enable informed decision-making. Leverage data management tools and platforms to improve governance effectiveness. Required Qualifications Proven experience managing data governance, data management, analytics, or related projects. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance requirements. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Experience working within supply chain, procurement, planning, quality, or related operational functions. Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Project Management certification (PMP or similar). Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Python, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools. Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project. Knowledge of data visualization platforms including Power BI or Tableau. Understanding of data privacy regulations and information security best practices.
