PART TIME JANITORIAL SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Detroit Flooring/stipping/waxing and supervisor experience required Job Function As a Janitorial Specialist at Allied you’ll learn about all of our accounts and travel to various locations to cover shifts or provide additional assistance where it’s needed. Flooring/stipping/waxing and supervisor experience required. Duties and Responsibilities Cleaning Restrooms Vacuum, sweep and mop Collect trash Wipe surfaces Other various cleaning related tasks Minimum Qualifications Flooring/stipping/waxing and supervisor experience required Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management and organizational skills Reliability and strong attendance record Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset Optional Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience Experience using industrial cleaning equipment (floor buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet cleaners) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently Ability to climb ladders or step stools when necessary Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming Benefits/Perks Competitive salary commensurate with experience. 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.
