Principal Software Architect

This is an in office position M-F, 9-6. We are open to candidates in the area or that would like to move to the SF area Verita AI is building a job matching platform that connects domain experts with high-paying data training opportunities at the world's leading AI labs. We recently raised a $6 million seed round led by Kindred Ventures. We are looking for a principal software architect to own systems architecture across Verita's core platform: our talent marketplace, annotation and evaluation systems, AI interviewing, expert routing, and analytics, built to support 100,000+ experts. This person will own the platform architecture, the core domain model, durable interfaces, and the security and reliability standards the engineering team builds on. This is a hands-on principal IC role: you will write code, review critical changes, and lead migrations while product delivery continues.
