Job Description

Join a fast-paced, clean, and team-oriented manufacturing environment as a 1st Shift CNC Bender Operator, where you will operate CNC and manual bending equipment to form stainless and carbon steel tubes according to precise specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC tube bending machines and manual bender equipment to bend all sizes of stainless and carbon steel tube to required specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine bend dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
• Accurately use tape measures and other simple measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure quality standards.
• Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements, angles, and adjustments for bending operations.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor bending machinery to achieve consistent and accurate production results.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to blueprints and customer requirements, making adjustments as needed.
• Lift, push, and pull materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs as part of the production process.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures, regulations, and shop rules.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting coworkers and prioritizing customer needs and job requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support efficient and safe operations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to accurately use simple measuring tools, including tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of CNC tube bending machines or manual bender equipment.
• Understanding of how CNC bending processes work.
• Basic math skills to support measurement and bending calculations.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Machine operation experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.

• Experience working with stainless and carbon steel tube in a production environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean, well-lit, and fast-paced shop environment that emphasizes teamwork and customer satisfaction. The 1st shift schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a 2nd shift operates Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The shop floor is very clean and organized, supporting efficient and safe operations. Employees work with CNC and manual bending machinery, handling stainless and carbon steel tube while following established safety procedures and regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
