Hotel Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy. Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls. Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions. Qualifications Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
