Private Event/Banquet Server

Omaha Country Club is a premier, private Club offering our members and their guests an exceptional experience through our fine dining restaurant and event spaces, championship golf course, tennis facility, pool, and superb amenities. Omaha Country Club is seeking motivated, service-oriented individuals to join our team of Servers during private events in our historic Clubhouse. Private Event/Banquet Servers work as a team with everyone doing their part to make each event successful. Private events include business meetings, family celebrations, weddings, or other special occasions with a pre-planned guest list, menu, and schedule. Employees enjoy a professional, collaborative work environment with the culinary team to provide a seamless experience for members and guests. JOB DUTIES

Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly and accommodating demeanor.

Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure members and guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience from beginning to end.

Take beverage orders, accurately answer any questions related to that particular event's food offerings, deliver food, fill water glasses, and clear dishes.

Ensure proper cleanliness during and after meal service.

Go above and beyond, working collaboratively with the culinary and serving teams to ensure all members and guests enjoy an impeccable dining experience.

Abide by all state and federal regulations and policies for serving alcoholic beverages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong verbal communication skills while always striving for accuracy.

The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 30 pounds.


Must be fluent in English.

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation.

Must be able to abide by the OCC Tobacco, Alcohol, and Drug Policy.

Must have a valid Food Handler Certification or be able to obtain one prior to start date.


SCHEDULE

Part-time positions available.

OCC offers flexible scheduling. This position requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

COMPENSATION

Starting Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour, plus banquet incentives for each event.

Hospitality experience preferred but not required; training provided.
