Job Description Symphony Risk Solutions, LLC. is looking for an experienced and committed individual to join our team as a Full-Time Premium Accounts Payable Analyst. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will ensure accurate, efficient processing of insurance premium remittances from trust accounts to insurance companies. This role acts as a key financial liaison between the firm, clients, and underwriting insurers and wholesalers, maintaining strict fiduciary compliance and data integrity. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Parental Leave Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES: Premium Remittance: PGenerate and distribute check, ACH, or wire payments from the company’s premium trust account to insurers. Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile insurer statements and account-current reports against internal ledger records; identify and resolve billing or booking discrepancies. Maintain a strong control on premium advances to mitigate trust non-compliance and bad debts. Premium Refunds: Process client return premium payments. Cross Departmental Support: Communicate with account managers, producers, and servicing teams to clarify accounting discrepancies, uncollected balances, or missing insurer documentation Requirements COMPETENCIES: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads under strict deadlines. EDUCATION: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a desk. Must be able to physically operate desktop computers, multiple monitors, proprietary software, phones, and common office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs.) is required. The ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate by telephone and in person is important to fulfilling the essential functions of the job.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in our San Francisco, CA or Richardson, TX office and 2 days remote, after applicable training is complete. Occasionally working after hours may be required to meet the demands and deadlines associated with the position.
