What You'll Do: Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture. Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area. Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures. Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge, experience, and communication with others. Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE. Log information into the computer system to document weight and description of materials in and out bound. Accurately assign correct commodities and location for materials. Work closely with accounting and raw materials to resolve scrap and ticket discrepancies. Assist dispatch with pre-load trailers, including billet loads and weekend loads. Divert scrap loads to the rail scale and communicate information during traffic overflow situations. Ensure all backhauls are unloaded and accounted for with clear communication to the relieving shift.

What You'll Need: Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work with exposure to extremes in temperature, chemical, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces. Must be able to learn quickly and multitask. Some overtime will be required. Demonstrated dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs. Minimum 1 year of of experience in either an operations and/or manufacturing environment required. Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint required. SAP experience a plus. Knowledge of different grades of scrap a plus. Ability to perform heavy manual work Push and pull up to 90 lbs and carry 50 lbs. Strong communication skills are required. Must read, speak, and understand English language in verbal and written communication. Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred.
