Material Handler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent sign manufacturer in Buena Vista, VA area, is seeking assemblers to join their team! They are offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, personal time and vacation.



Assembler Job Summary:

• $17.00 per hour
• 1 st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday thru Thursday with OT as scheduled on Friday by supervisor if needed
• Assembler will gather materials such as patterns, vinyl, hand tools, etc
• Spray paint various plastic faces and panels using such quality documents as picks, prints, work procedures/instructions and checklists.
• Assembler will apply plastic paints to second surface of hand cut faces/panels
• Assembler will assist in moving material, cutting material and basic trimming of material
• Gather and process parts as determined by department specific work schedule
• Work as part of a production team.

Assembler Qualifications:

• High School or GED is required
• Steel toe footwear is required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
• Must have good eye-hand coordination and be able to lift to up to 40 lbs.
