Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Nurse Clinician-Educator for the Parker Health Group Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. This position is under the direction of Division leadership. This role will support the clinical, operational, and educational functions of the division team, optimizing the efficiency and productivity of physicians, advanced practice providers, (APPs), and fellows to ensure high quality patient care outcomes and clinical practice growth. Serving as central liaison, this role also facilitates communication across the nine Parker clinical sites in their daily clinical operations and provides care navigation to patients and caregivers. Key responsibilities include clinical and administrative support, coordination and scheduling, billing and compliance, interdisciplinary liaison and care navigation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher. At least one (1) year of experience in the clinical area. Demonstrated experience in graduate medical education (GME) or academic teaching services.

Certifications/Licenses - Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications - Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory nursing role preferred. Experience in geriatrics, long term care, or coordination settings. Familiarity with medical billing processes and clinical schedule management systems.
