Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.


Hourly Rate: $12.14 plus tips


Position Overview: This is a seasonal role. Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine, and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.


Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Warmly greeting guestsand making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
• Taking orderswith a smile and ensuring accuracy to meet our guests' preferences.
• Serving delicious food and refreshing drinkspromptly and professionally.
• Ensuring guest satisfactionby anticipating their needs and providing attentive service.
• Maintaining hygiene and safety standardsto create a clean and safe dining environment.
• Keeping your station organizedand ready for the next guest.
• Handling cash and paymentsefficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly and approachable personality with a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
