About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of advancing research, education, and public awareness in the field of skin health and dermatologic disease. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, mission-driven professional with at least 5 years' of senior leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising, donor engagement, and revenue growth, as well as strong operational and organizational management skills. The Executive Director will be responsible for providing visionary leadership, partnering with the Board of Directors, and overseeing all aspects of the organization's operations, including financial management, team leadership, and community engagement. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include fostering a culture of operational excellence, leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy, and cultivating strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, and a deep commitment to the organization's mission and values. They will also be expected to have high integrity, sound judgment, and executive presence, and to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability and impact through effective strategic planning and execution. The role demands a leader who can inspire and develop a high-performing team, and who is adept at championing the organization's brand through strategic communications and public engagement initiatives.
