About the Role:

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Manager . The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards for all trades.

We are looking for a self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional with excellent communication and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary support to the EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements.
• Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs).
• Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
• Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of continuous experience in construction safety management for all trades on large builds.
• OSHA 510 is mandatory.
• CHST preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
• Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis methods.
• Prior experience coordinating with subcontractors and site leadership on large-scale builds.
