Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General is needed in Kennewick, Washington, to perform ultrasound examinations across various patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role involves working in a busy medical environment, with responsibilities including scanning neonates, infants, and pediatric patients for conditions such as intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendicitis. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with both day and night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with days and 1-2 night shifts in a two-week period. Minimum of 36 hours per week, shift hours are 12.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission). Valid Allied license in hand (please ask account manager if unsure). Certifications include ARDMS AB, ARDMS FE, ARDMS OB/GYN, and BLS. A minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasonography is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system. Prior community hospital and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Must be comfortable scanning neonates, infants, and pediatrics for specific conditions.
  • No on-call requirement; weekends are required every other weekend.
  • Candidate must be able to float within the facility as needed.
  • Candidate must provide responses to specific eligibility questions, including previous employment at Providence facilities and interview availability with time zones and multiple options.
  • Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as travelers.
  • Completion of non-billable modules averaging 16 hours, with over 20 hours requiring approval.
