Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise them as needed. Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes. Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust strategies to improve patient health. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families. Supervise and delegate care provided by healthcare team members. Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities. Respond promptly and effectively to code situations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Organizational and multi‑tasking skills Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Team‑player attitude within a unit Effective verbal and oral communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to perform EKG (as required) Fluency in English (read, verbal, and written) Basic computer skills, including navigation of Microsoft Windows programs High level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans based on outcomes Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) Work Experience 1+ year in an acute care hospital setting Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) – required Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS) – required Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – preferred Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) – preferred Pediatric ER Assess, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) – preferred Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN Spec (RDMS‑OBGYN) – preferred Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Program – preferred S.T.A.B.L.E.
