Senior Structural Engineering (PE)

Job Description

Location Requirement: Must reside in the U.S. Southwest Region (AZ, CA, CO, HI, NM, NV, UT) or Canada

We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Professional (PE/PEng) to lead structural analysis and design for advanced industrial and semiconductor facilities. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, lead teams, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Pay: $68.00- $78.00 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities

• Perform and lead structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures
• Apply U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC), including seismic design
• Develop design concepts and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Review calculations and ensure quality control of deliverables
• Manage scope, schedule, and project deliverables
• Lead or support project teams and mentor junior staff
• Participate in client coordination and project meetings

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
• Professional Engineer (PE/PEng) license
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural analysis tools
• Experience designing steel and concrete structures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Structural Engineer (SE) license
• Experience with semiconductor or industrial facilities
• Experience leading medium-sized teams
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
